About Ashley

Ashley Bodhaine is a versatile professional with over 15 years of experience in administrative management, business development, marketing, and human resources. Known for her adaptability and initiative, she has supported and led operations across a range of industries—from construction and marketing to health and wellness—bringing structure, creativity, and strategy to every project she touches.

Throughout her career, Ashley has managed day-to-day operations for small businesses, co-owned and developed multiple ventures, and excelled in roles requiring precision, communication, and leadership. Her background includes HR policy development, payroll and accounting, event planning, vendor negotiations, and digital marketing. She is proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and creative tools like Canva and Adobe Suite, blending administrative expertise with marketing insight.

As the founder of AB Impressions (the parent company of this website), Ashley built lasting B2B and B2C relationships while coordinating large-scale events such as Rock Circus, a fundraising concert for the Concussion Legacy Foundation. Her experience also includes co-owning Advanced Management Services, where she oversaw HR, operations, and marketing initiatives across multiple affiliated businesses.

Resilient and forward-thinking, Ashley brings a rare combination of professionalism, creativity, and empathy to her work. After recovering from a long-term concussion, she’s continued to grow her career with renewed perspective—focused on helping organizations run efficiently, build meaningful connections, and thrive.

In her personal life, Ashley was in a car accident in 2019 that gave her a concussion, or Post Concussion Syndrome for five and a half years. She struggled with her mental health because of the day to day life of living with PCS. Now, she is happily PCS symptom free and has decided to take this second chance at life and focus her energy on doing things that bring her joy. She loves helping small businesses, especially those in the trades because it makes her feel closer to her late mentor (who was like a father to her) Mike Wagner. Ashley has chosen to donate 5% of all sales of Consulting by Ashley/AB Impressions services towards the Concussion Legacy Foundation, so others don’t suffer the way she did due to lack of knowledge.

Ashley’s philosophy on helping small businesses is based around a relationship of mutual respect, understanding and support. She doesn’t believe in selling businesses things they don’t need because every dollar to a small business owner counts. She genuinely wants her clients to succeed and enjoys finding the most cost-effective methods to grow your business.

Why turtles? Throughout the height of Ashley’s concussion, she referred to herself as a turtle. She said she’d get there eventually or sang the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song. She believes turtles are slow until they’re in their natural element and they are known as strong, resilient creatures. Ashley believes in marketing for Mom and Pop small businesses especially, organic growth is best and applies these principles when advising her clients.
